Quinton Rampage Jackson who was recently revealed as a member of TNA Wrestling’s Main Event Mafia is featured in a new comic book series entitled “Street Soldier”. Here is the official blurb for the series…
Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier follows the adventures of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as he gains powers from a meteorite and decides to use them for good. When good people end up in bad situations, Rampage has no problem getting ugly to set things right!” The MMA star is at this week’s San Diego Comic Con promoting the comic.
Jackson won’t be returning to the UFC any time soon, as he’s now locked in to a long-term deal with Spike TV, the Bellator Fighting Championships and TNA Impact Wrestling.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t interested in his former competition. Anderson Silver is UFC odds on favorite in his rematch with Chris Weidman, and Rampage doesn’t think anyone can beat him. Speaking with ESPN earlier this year he said: “Anderson Silva is one of the best fighters on the planet, I haven’t seen anyone in that weight class who could give him a run for his money.”
Rampage said “I don’t even know who Chris Weidman is,” back at 162.
Yahoo Sports has the full UFC Odds breakdown for the upcoming fight, which opened at -140 for Silva compared to +100 for Weidman.
Rampage Jackson is also featured in a new Reebok TV ad, alongside NFL star Damarcus Ware, to promote the ATV 19 line of training shoes. He has already been featured in one commercial already. Watch the new ad below…
Rampage’s new Spike TV deal will see him fight for Bellator alongside training to be a pro wrestler. Though he’s already made appearances for TNA, it’s unlikely he’ll do anything overtly physical for several more months. There is also a planned reality TV show in the works that will keep the former UFC champ busy.
BEST OF MAXIM
Everyone in the beer drinking country saw Anderson Silva get KTFO a few weekends ago. Yet we haven’t seen enough internet jokiness about it. Or maybe I just didn’t see, and I’m looking in the wrong places. You press power, then popcorn, then start to go to google right? Ahhhh **** I might be looking at the microwave again….

Minutes after former middleweight king Anderson Silva was put to sleep by Chris Weidman at UFC 162, company president Dana White (pictured) was asked to respond to countless conspiracy theorists who suggested the fight was fixed.
White quickly rebuffed the accusation, calling anyone who thought Silva and the UFC rigged the scrap “idiots.”

Now that former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva is a professional fight-thrower, he’s got more time to pursue his TRUE love in life — filming pointless cameos in low budget MMA films.Last month we shared with you the trailer for Tapped, a movie starring Silva and actors who were more popular in the 80s about a young man who steps into the cage and faces CHALLENGES. ...
In 2008 we put Mike Francesa into Mike Tyson's Punchout. Now, someone's put Chris Weidman & Anderson Silva [BWO BSO] in that classic ring.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather was crowned the 2013 ESPY Award winner for the Best Fighter, giving him the honor for the second consecutive year and for the fifth time in the last seven years. Mayweather beat out UFC stars Jon Jones and Anderson Silva, along with upcoming opponent Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Danny Garcia to win the award which he has become quite accustomed...
This wasn’t the angriest that UFC President Dana White has been about people accusing Anderson Silva of throwing his fight against Chris Weidman at UFC 162 for the sake of the company – as I mostly jokingly laid out in the days after the upset victory – but it’s still always fun to watch him get pissed off. This time, during an appearance on ESPN’s Highly Questionable,...
