Quinton Rampage Jackson who was recently revealed as a member of TNA Wrestling’s Main Event Mafia is featured in a new comic book series entitled “Street Soldier”. Here is the official blurb for the series…
Rampage Jackson: Street Soldier follows the adventures of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as he gains powers from a meteorite and decides to use them for good. When good people end up in bad situations, Rampage has no problem getting ugly to set things right!” The MMA star is at this week’s San Diego Comic Con promoting the comic.
Jackson won’t be returning to the UFC any time soon, as he’s now locked in to a long-term deal with Spike TV, the Bellator Fighting Championships and TNA Impact Wrestling.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t interested in his former competition. Anderson Silver is UFC odds on favorite in his rematch with Chris Weidman, and Rampage doesn’t think anyone can beat him. Speaking with ESPN earlier this year he said: “Anderson Silva is one of the best fighters on the planet, I haven’t seen anyone in that weight class who could give him a run for his money.”
Rampage said “I don’t even know who Chris Weidman is,” back at 162.
Yahoo Sports has the full UFC Odds breakdown for the upcoming fight, which opened at -140 for Silva compared to +100 for Weidman.
Rampage Jackson is also featured in a new Reebok TV ad, alongside NFL star Damarcus Ware, to promote the ATV 19 line of training shoes. He has already been featured in one commercial already. Watch the new ad below…
Rampage’s new Spike TV deal will see him fight for Bellator alongside training to be a pro wrestler. Though he’s already made appearances for TNA, it’s unlikely he’ll do anything overtly physical for several more months. There is also a planned reality TV show in the works that will keep the former UFC champ busy.
