PLAYERS: Jose Aldo
Well, sometimes weird fights end oddly, and I have a feeling both of these guys were walking into Rio de Janeiro injured, because Chan Sung Jung did not look like his usual self, and neither did Jose Aldo, who only threw one leg kick in the fight. Both men moved much slower than usual, but Jose looked like his usual awesome self in the technique department, but also looked to take down Zombie far more often than any other opponent, perhaps another bad weight cut, or is he turning over a new leaf? Outside of a little action on the ends of rounds 2 and 3, the fourth round played out one of the stranger endings in recent memory, with The Korean Zombie dislocating his shoulder on an overhand, then Jose Aldo jumping on his injured opponent. Wow. Thanks to Zprophet for the replay!
