PLAYERS: Jose Aldo
It wasn’t exactly what UFC featherweight king Jose Aldo (pictured) had in mind, but a win is a win. More importantly, a successful title defense is a successful title defense. “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung didn’t attack the division’s deadliest marksman with the same ferocity as he has done with past opponents, and perhaps that’s the primary reason he was down three rounds to zip entering the fourth frame. When Jung finally attempted to turn up the heat, he dislocated his right shoulder on a punch. In true zombie fashion, Jung tried to put his shoulder back in place mid-fight so he could continue competing. Unfortunately for Jung, Aldo saw the dislocation and pounced. It was a wrap shortly after Aldo smelled blood. UFC 163 took place inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Please click the media player below to watch the highlights:

The Korean Zombie dislocates his shoulder and Aldo pounces on him for the win at UFC 163.

Well, sometimes weird fights end oddly, and I have a feeling both of these guys were walking into Rio de Janeiro injured, because Chan Sung Jung did not look like his usual self, and neither did Jose Aldo, who only threw one leg kick in the fight. Both men moved much slower than usual, but Jose looked like his usual awesome self in the technique department, but also looked to take...

UFC 163: The Fall Out

If the UFC hoped that a return trip to Jose Aldo's homeland, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, would produce another killer finish by the Featherweight Champion, they were mistaken. UFC 163 Results: Jose Aldo Defeats Korean Zombie, Phil Davis Wins Controversial Decision

UFC 163 was a very entertaining card, with a hint of controversy as well. In the main event of the evening, it took Jose Aldo a little while to figure out Chan Sung Jung, but he was able to figure out the puzzle. In the fourth round while throwing a punch, “The Korean Zombie” blew out his surgically repaired shoulder and the champion capitalized as Jose Aldo retained his UFC...
