Main Card (Fuel TV) • Cung Le (9-2) defeats Rich Franklin (29-7) via soul shattering KO (punch) Round 1, 2:17

Le earned KO of the night honors ($40K) for the devastating blow that planted Franklin on the canvas face first. If you combine the kickboxing and MMA record of the Saigon fighter you will see 20 career knockouts.

• Thiago Silva (15-3) defeats Stanislav Nedkov (12-1) via submission (arm-triangle choke) Round 3, 1:45

Huge win for Thiago. Silva's first win since his KO of Keith Jardine back in 2009 gets him back to his throat slashing ways and serves Stanislav Nedkov the first loss of his pro MMA career.

• Dong Hyun Kim (16-2-1) defeats Paulo Thiago (14-5) via UD (30-26, 30-27 x 2)

Kim gets back into the win column after dropping two straight with a dominating and exciting performance. He ended the contest with a homage to the great Kazushi Sakuraba, throwing double punches - boxing in the ears of his opponent. Thiago has now dropped four of his last five.

• Takanori Gomi (34-8) defeats Mac Danzig (21-10-1) via Split Decision (28-29, 29-28 x 2)

There was only one way I saw Gomi defeating Danzig and that was by an early KO. While the fight may have been scored as a split it was clearly Gomi's fight. Takanori Gomi beating Mac Danzig by decision is actually more impressive to me than if he would've knocked the TUF Season 6 winner out cold. It's clear that the former PRIDE legend is taking his UFC career seriously by making adjustments and showing that his cardio will no longer hold him back. Gomi improves to 3-2 in his UFC career while Danzig falls to 5-6.

Both Gomi and Danzig took home an extra $40K for their fight of the night performance.

• Jon Tuck (7-0) defeats Tiequan Zhang (15-4) via UD (30-27, 29-28 x 2)

Tuck's official UFC debut was a solid one. His fight with the hometown hero Tiequan Zhang could've easily earned fight of the night honors. It may have been Zhang's third straight loss inside of the Octagon but it was a spirited effort, not one that will earn his walking papers.

• Takeya Mizugaki (16-7-2) defeats Jeff Hougland (10-6) via UD (30-25, 30-27 x 2)

The 30-25 tells the story. Hougland knew he had no chance standing up with Mizugaki, so he did his best to take it to the ground whenever possible. 'Hellbound' even pulled guard on numerous occasions only to receive a hearty and consistent serving of fist to the face from Mizugaki.

Preliminary Card (Facebook)

• Alex Caceres (8-5) defeats Motonobu Tezuka (19-5-4) via Split Decision (28-29, 30-27 x 2)

•  John Lineker (20-6) defeats Yasuihiro ********** (19-6-6) via UD (29-28 x 2, 30-27)

•  Riki Fukuda (19-6) defeats Tom DeBlass (7-2) via UD (30-27, 29-28 x 2)
