Greg Biffle is no stranger at keeping cool during a race. Last year we touched base on his secret weapon that he has that no other team has. That is the 3M Crystalline 90 Window Film that will be on his car for this weekend’s race from the Auto Club Speedway.
While he is turning laps at nearly 200 miles per hour, Biffle will have less glare out of his windshield and less heat coming on him. The film was tested by Penske Racing in 2011 and debuted last year on Biffle’s car. The film boasts unrivaled heat rejection, significant glare reduction, non-metallized construction, and blockage of up to 99.9% of harmful UV light.
The window film will also be spot lighted on Biffle’s car for the Auto Club Speedway race as a way to promote the product, and I suspect, to rub it in to competitors that Biffle is that much cooler than them.
