Race Review Online:
Bristol, TN- Quick who had Joey Logano ahead of Brad Keselowski in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings with just two races left before the Chase for the Sprint Cup title starts?
I’ll bet no one did.
In fact, that’s where we stand with just Atlanta and Richmond remaining on the Sprint Cup schedule before the Chase starts and if it started today Logano would be in and defending series champ Keselowski would be on the outside looking in.
Just two weeks ago Logano sat 16th in the standings while his Penske Racing teammate Keselowski was eighth. Logano sat on the pole in record fashion at Michigan and won the race giving him a good chance at making the Chase as a wildcard.
The series headed to Bristol where Keselowski won two of the previous three races and finished third back in the spring. Logano on the other hand has never had success there and looked like he would fade back to normalcy leaving Tennessee.
But after 500 laps of action Saturday night, the exact opposite happened.

The AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend will play a pivotal role in determining who qualifies for the Chase for the Sprint Cup with numerous drivers in striking distance as they search for wins and points.
