The starters once again got off to a slow start and once again it wasn't until the reserves came in that the team picked up. Sheed, in particular was the spark plug to jump start this team. Sheed seems to be a perfect fit for this team and appears to be relishing his role off the bench. He finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 23 minutes. I'd say that Sheed is the early frontrunner for 6th man of the year and Shelden Williams is right there for most improved.
Speaking of Shelden, he looked great again last night and even won his first Tommy Award. He had 11 points on 5-8 shooting and 7 rebounds in this game and is looking better on defense game by game. He is a better rebounder than Big Baby and it is going to be hard for Big Baby to get minutes away from him if he keeps improving and playing at this rate. And the only thing you'll find Shelden doing at 4 in the morning is getting Lailaa a bottle so Candace can sleep.
