In case you didn't know it, I love Perk. I love his fire, I love his work ethic, I love his willingness to do the dirty work in the trenches and let the others get the headlines. He is the perfect center for this team. Perk is the starting center on the team. Doc isn't messing with the chemistry his starting lineup has built. But, the center on the floor at the end of the game will rotate depending on whether the team needs the offense and spreading the floor that Rasheed Wallace provides, or the defense and inside play that Perk brings. On some teams that might lead to discord, but not this one, and one of the reasons for that is Perk's team mentality. "Guys want to be in there," Perkins said. "I'd love to be in there.
