Found March 17, 2013 on CLNS Radio:
Brandon Bass said he isn't worrying about whether he will be covering LeBron James Monday night and talked about stepping in for an injured KG. Paul Pierce had another efficient game and credited the team with stepping up defensively in the second half. Jason Terry was perfect from downtown (3/3 3FG) and said that they knew they gave the previous games away to the Bobcats and if they were to come back to the Garden, "We were gonna slap them." Jeff Green: "They whooped us back at their place, so we wanted to come out, be aggressive and send the message.” Doc Rivers said Paul Pierce has been underrated his whole career and even Doc himself underrated him. Sean Bakke joined Jared Weiss on The Garden Report to break down the Celtics defense with Brandon Bass at the helm and the first big home minutes for Shavlik Randolph. J Weiss broke down the three key points from the game from Doc's podium on Three at the Buzzer.

Paul Pierce & Jason Terry not interested in the Miami Heat’s win streak

The Heat have a former member of the Boston Celtics as part of their starting 5 this season in Ray Allen. The two teams have had a few playoff battles as of late, so of course there’s no love lost between the two teams. Naturally when asked about the Heat’s current 21-game winning streak, Paul Pierce and company don’t really have much to say about it. Jason Terry: “Not really...

Celtics not impressed by Heat winning streak

"I really don't even care. I hope they lose every game the rest of the season. I just worry about what this team does"-Paul Pierce I just love this team. No other team in the league is as hardcore as the Celtics. They don't care about being liked and what other teams/fans think of them.  They embrace the rivalry they have with the Heat and don't try to suck...

LeBron Pretty Much Shoving A Dunk Down Jason Terry’s Throat & Making Him Like It

Boston leads Miami, 59-53, at halftime with the Heat’s 22-game winning streak on the line, but the real story in the first half was the LeBron James dunk on Jason Terry. Remember DeAndre Jordan dunking on Brandon Knight? Yeah, it’s that caliber. The only question now is, how long will it take someone to put WWE’s Jim Ross to the LeBron dunk? Hopefully my ass wakes up and hears...

Green Envy: What Bobcats fans said - 3/16

In the process of writing this post, I was disgusted with the confidence the fans of the Charlotte Bobkitties came into the game with. Sure, they won a couple games against the Celtics, but for a team that bad to assume they would win? Horrendous. Thankfully the Celtics shut them up by destroying their vastly inferior squad. And to think I came into today feeling sorry for Charlotte...

Wikipedia Pronounces Jason Terry Dead After Being Posterized By LeBron James

You haven’t really been dunked on until your Wikipedia page has pronounced you dead, just ask Brandon Knight. So of course, Jason Terry’s page was immediately updated to say “He died on March 18, 2013, due to being dunked on by LeBron James” after he was absolutely destroyed by LeBron during Monday night’s game against the Heat.

Heat escape Boston with a 105-103 win; streak hits 23 despite career game from Jeff Green

Ugh. The Celtics, without Kevin Garnett (and Rondo, and Sullinger, and Barbosa..) had the Heat right where they wanted them. They were up 17 in the first half, and 13 with 8:27 to go in the 4th. But they couldn't close the door. Lebron James was too good, scoring 37 points to go with 12 assists and 7 boards for Miami. The Celtics were led by Jeff Green's career high 43 points...

Recap: Total team effort leads to another home win for C’s

Thanks to 8 first half turnovers that led to 13 Charlotte points, the Celtics could not put distance between themselves and the ‘Cats early. Boston went into halftime up 50-43. But the guys in green turned it up another notch on both sides of the ball to blow the game open and cruise through most of the 3rd and 4th. Chuck’s prediction was almost dead-on, as Boston wins 108-95...

In the second quarter of the Heat vs. Celtics game on Monday night, Lebron James had a running start before he dunked on Jason Terry of the Celtics. Check out the video below. The Celtics are up 59-53 at halftime.

Comments from the Other Side - Heat 3/18

I really, really dislike the Heat and their fans.  The majority of  Heat fans became fans when LeBron arrived.  They are fair weather fans  who trash their own players constantly when they miss a play or don't shoot well.  .  They also talk about how Celtics fans are complaining about the refs and then turn around and complain about the refs and the truth is that no team...

On Saturday night, the Boston Celtics avenged their Tuesday night loss to the Charlotte Bobcats by a 105-88 margin, which was done without Kevin Garnett in the line-up. Boston Celtics Can Beat the Miami Heat; Avery Bradley & Jeff Green

[caption id="attachment_58553" align="aligncenter" width="583"] With Kevin Garnett still providing elite defense, and the possibilities of Avery Bradley and Jeff Green being in the Boston Celtics lineup this time around -- Dr. Andre Snellings feels that these Celtics can take down the Miami Heat in a playoff series (photo credit: bostonherald.com)[/caption...

Your Morning Dump… where someone’s streak ends tonight

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. But, in front of a leather-lunged crowd that spent much of that Sunday afternoon on its feet, the Celtics, without Rajon Rondo, fought to an emotional double-overtime win. Including that game, the Celtics have won...

Kevin Garnett out against Bobcats with strained thigh, expected to be back Monday vs Heat

As you have probably noticed, Kevin Garnett isn't playing tonight against the Bobcats due to a strained thigh muscle and Jeff Green started in his place According to Doc Rivers, KG isn't expected to be out any longer than one game. This is good news because we will need him Monday when the Celtics take on the Miami Heat. From NBA.com: Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett...

The Celtics didn't win, but they sent a message to Miami tonight: 'see you in the playoffs'

"There's no such thing as a good loss." I'd say that I agree with the above statement 99% of the time. Especially in professional sports. But the Celtics 105-103 loss to the Heat to the Heat tonight falls in the other 1%. Sure the loss sucked something fierce. A 17 point 1st half lead and a 13 point cushion with 8:27 to go fell by the wayside. Boston turned the...
