Former Louisville star Terrence Williams had minor knee surgery this afternoon in Boston. The surgery doesn’t appear to be anything serious, judging from Williams’ Twitter account. Williams was in the news last week after being arrested in Kent, WA., for a domestic dispute. He showed up to the mother of his son’s home for a scheduled visitation exchange, where a dispute ensued. The woman said in the parking lot area that during the argument Williams brandished a firearm and made threats. Williams was booked and the investigation is still currently going on. He denies the allegations from his son’s mother. After being bounced from the league three seasons after being taken in the lottery in 2009, Williams was fortunate enough to land another opportunity with the Boston Celtics. His contract with the team goes through next season, but it’s not guaranteed, which means the team could cut him loose during the offseason.
