The Celtics were hungry. Hungry for a home victory after an emotional loss to the Nets on Wednesday night. A game that was filled of intense aggression. Rajon Rondo was suspended for two games for being too aggressive and intense, and knocking Kris Humphries literally into the stands. The C's wanted to come out and show their fans they're not going to lie down. That's exactly what Boston did on Friday night against the Portland Trail Blazers, even without their star point guard. They came out firing from the start, and once they had sped out in front, they never looked back.
The win was in large part because of Boston's role players who propelled the Celts all night long. Jeff Green had arguably the best game of his Celtic career, scoring 19 points off the bench, but also giving Boston a burst of energy that they were lacking in the absence of Rondo. He was aggressive on both ends of the floor, and his 4 steals prove that.

Bucks Gone Wild
Consistency is something the Celtics have finally found, that is if being consistently inconsistent counts. You have to wonder if the league wanted to set up a rivalry between these two teams for ratings purposes. Yes, I know I'm getting into tinfoil hat areas here, but I can't help but wonder.
In the first outing between the Celtics and the Nets, Keith Bogans...
