We’ ve shared here recently that Mike D’Antoni is not our favorite coach. You can add talent evaluation to the list of our complaints about the Knicks head man. Why? Well, Jeremy Lin of course. This is what we wrote a week ago in pondering the dream of what could have been had the fall rumors of Chris Paul’s arrival in New York had rung true while bemoaning the sorry state of the point in New York: “…the Knicks bigger problem this season has been on offense. It’s been downright offensive, actually. Why? Well, their shooting stinks. There’s no flow. Zero continuity. Nobody in charge of the floor. In short, among other issues, they have no point guard. What’s even worse, there’s nobody on roster who can fill that desperately needed role.” Perhaps we overlooked Jeremy Lin. We should be excused for such an oversight.
