Jermaine O'Neal said that Boston wasn't a good fit for him. He's looking forward to finding a situation where he can have a better role.

After taking $12 million over 2 seasons from the Celtics and playing in a grand total of 49 games, Jermaine O'Neal had the nerve to say that the Celtics weren't a good fit for him and he's looking forward to finding a situation with a better role for him. WHAT???!!!

Jermaine O'Neal was set to be the Celtics starting center. He was playing with one of the best point guards in the league who was ready to find him anytime he got to the basket. He was considered by Doc Rivers to be the MVP of training camp last season. All he had to do was stay healthy and play 20 minutes or so a game. But I guess that was too much for him to handle. Now, he's bad mouthing the Celtics while he's trying to sign on with the rival Lakers. I say good riddance.

I'm not sure what his idea of a better role would be. Maybe a team that will pay him $6 million a year to play 10 games. Or maybe he wants to get paid and not play at all. Could be the Celtics expected too much from him. What a loser. Feel free to sound off with your feelings on JO in the comments.
