There is a generation of NBA fans that have not seen the game being played without certain superstars on the court--like Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics. However, if some of his recent comments can be believed it sounds like his days on the court might be coming to an end soon. He doesn't come right out and say that he is retiring, but he makes several comments regarding his future in the All-Star game--basically that he is never playing in another one again. Since if he gets voted in he has to play or miss out on a regular season game there can only be one conclusion, because there is no way that a player would miss a regular season game just to skip the All-Star game, right? KG must be retiring. Then again, the way he makes it sound, all he could want is the weekend off too. Having been in the league as long as he has I would think that he would be familiar with the rules and that he can't skip the game just because he feels like. So is he retiring or does he actually
