The NBA posted a player profile video on Paul Pierce today, where "The Truth" talks about a range of topics including his favorite all-time NBA play, what it's like being coached by Doc Rivers, and his favorite moment of his NBA career.
When asked who the toughest player in the league is to guard, Pierce said that it was a toss-up between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, but that Carmelo has given him the most fits over the years. They unfortunately didn't ask him who his least favorite person to play against is... I was curious to see if he'd mention anything about the basketball player formerly known as Ron Artest, who has pulled down his shorts and sung to him to apologize.
Enjoy the video.

Carmelo Anthony, Knicks’ Early-Season Surge Will Not Last, At Least Not for Long
People in many parts of New York City are still digging themselves out of the remnants of Superstorm Sandy, so they may not have noticed that Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks have made the NBA their personal playground in the first week of the season. If they have noticed, then no one should begrudge them an opportunity to experience something other than power outages and mass flooding...
Paul Pierce throws nice behind-the-head pass to Kevin Garnett (Video)
I'm still trying to figure out how Boston Celtics guard Paul Pierce was able to thread this pass to Kevin Garnett against the Washington Wizards.
Maybe, he has eyes in the back of his head:

Celtics Live Blog: Paul Pierce, C’s Shoot for Three Consecutive Wins as Sixers Come to Town
8 a.m. ET: As underwhelming as the first two weeks of the season have been for the Celtics, the team can climb above .500 and notch its first three-game winning streak of the season with a victory on Friday against a familiar foe.
The rival Philadelphia 76ers come to town with just as many nagging questions as the Celtics. For the Sixers, the primary concern is when they will finally...

Recap: Celtics continue to win ugly, beat Wizards in OT
Ugly photo for an ugly game.
Welp, the Celtics are still working in the new guys in and while it was ugly, they get their second straight win over the Wizards, 100-94 in overtime.
It felt like a repeat of Saturday’s game as the Celtics come out strong to an 11-2 run and everyone getting a bunch of assists. Paul Pierce was playing like a man on a mission, knocking down a three...

Comments from the Other Side - Wizards 11/7
As the season heats up, the comments are going to get better. Today's were much better than the previous game. It's always interesting to see which players other fan bases hate the most. In Washington, it seems to be KG. Some fun stuff today. Enjoy!

Knicks 104, Mavericks 94
NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony again led the New York Knicks to another win in their best start in nearly 20 years. At least when he was on the court Friday night. But when the Knicks lost their high-scoring forward to foul trouble in the third quarter, J.R. Smith stepped up, helping the Knicks outscore the Dallas Mavericks until Anthony returned in the fourth quarter of their 104...
Knicks beat Mavericks to stay unbeaten
NEW YORK (AP) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 31 points and the New York Knicks improved their best start in nearly two decades to 4-0 with a 104-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
Reserve JR Smith added 22 points for the Knicks, the only unbeaten team in the NBA. They hadn't been perfect after four games since the 1993-94 team started 7-0 en route to the NBA Finals...
Knicks remain NBA's only unbeaten team
NEW YORK - When it yielded 57 points in the first half, the New York Knicks' defense looked as if it might finally crack after three stellar games. And they were clinging to just a one-point lead when their leader, Carmelo Anthony, took a rest due to foul trouble halfway through the third quarter. No matter. The Knicks continued their surprising start to the season by shutting...
The MSG Network hung up some controversial Kinicks ads
Not sure about you guys, but I would rather pick up a six or seven then watch Jason Kidd pass the ball to Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton.
Clever ad. Someone will complain about it soon enough.
This one seems a little insensitive.
