Through the Celtics' struggles this season, it seems as though some major changes will be made this summer. It was a common consensus that both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett would retire together at the end of the season. However, Pierce has put an end to those notions, at least about his own retirement, by reiterating that he would like to play out his current contract, according to Jay King of MassLive. While his current contract is up in one year, Pierce may still not be done playing. Past his current contract, Pierce says he would like to "evaluate". "Right now it's just year by year," he said. "I expect to play another year next year, then evaluate after that."
