ESPN’s A. Feldman tweeted this pic today of *gulp* former current Celtic (until 7/10) Paul Pierce at the World Series of Poker in Omaha Nebraska. Notice he’s rocking the ’08 Celtics bling. And according to CardPlayer.com, Truth is doing pretty well: Professional basketball player Paul Pierce was sparring with professional poker players on Saturday in Las Vegas — and was actually doing quite well. Pierce made the trip to the 2013 World Series of Poker and entered the $10,000 buy-in pot-limit Omaha championship, an event which always draws the best of the best. At around 5 p.m. local time on Saturday, Piece had a stack of nearly 250,000, which put him as one of the top 10 stacks with 143 left. On one hand, Piece turned a straight flush on a board reading 10 7 4 6, and he crippled an opponent. Some in the room were considering the hand a slowroll because Pierce thought about the call briefly with the A 3 5 3. You can keep track of how Pierce is doing via CardPlayer.com. Here’s another...

OfficialCelticsHD has put together another phenomenal video that compiles every dunk of Paul Pierce's and Kevin Garnett's from the 2012-2013 season. I'm sure many of us will refer back to all these compilations of Pierce's and KG's moments in a Celtics uniform when feeling nostalgic about trading the future Hall of Famers.

As expected the Heat have to be favorites for the NBA title next year, but the Pierce and KG to Brooklyn trade does make things interesting. A starting five of Brook Lopez, KG, Pierce, Joe Johnson and Deron Williams is one of the best starting five in the league and could give the Heat a run for their money. They presumably would pose serious match-up problems with this big lineup...

Celtics fans were disappointed to see Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers go this offseason, but they were distraught to see Paul Pierce head out of Boston, too. After 15 years and 1,102 games played, all with the Celtics, a lot people assumed — hoped, maybe — that Pierce would spend his entire NBA career in green.
Count Larry Bird among those who will be disappointed to see Pierce...
Over the weekend, the two newest members of the Brooklyn Nets were spotted out and abut. In Malibu, Kevin Garnett, his wife Brandi and their two daughters, attended Levi McConaughey’s 5th Birthday. That would be the son of actor Matthew McConaughey. KG has lived in Malibu for about 10 years and Matthew is a neighbor. Also on hand was actress Sandra Bullock
Boston Celtics great Larry Bird, unlike most, isn’t ready to place Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett in retirement homes just yet.
According to a story via ESPN, the Indiana Pacers president, feels both players are far from just complimentary pieces even though they’re in the latter stages of their careers.
“I think they’ve both been pretty healthy throughout their careers...

The Boston Celtics have moved on from an unforgettable era, and a Celtic great thinks the latest players shipped out of Boston still have fuel left in their tanks.
Larry Bird, Indiana Pacers president, believes Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett still have game in their veteran shoes.
“I think they got plenty left,” Bird told ESPN Monday during the Orlando Summer League...

When the Boston Celtics acquired Kevin Garnett & Ray Allen in 2007, season ticket sales obviously went through the roof. Now that Garnett, Allen & Paul Pierce have left Boston, will season ticket holders...
