There’s ugly, and then there’s ugly– and watching the Portland Trailblazers play basketball as of late is ugly of the italicized variety. Tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers holds true to that as the Blazers fall 92-75. Portland shot an abysmal 31% from the field going 20-64 in the game. They shot just 2-15 in the first quarter which is the fewest field goals Portland has made since STATS, Inc. began keeping records in 2002-03. Half way through the fourth quarter the Blazers had only 12 made field goals (Obviously finishing with 20, so I guess they are heading into their next game on fire?). Lamarcus Aldridge led the team with 17 points, but made all five of his field goals in the second quarter. The Pacers locked down on his go to move and forced him into tough shots in the second half. The only thing that kept the Blazers from true embarrassment is their play from the foul line. They shot 30-38 from the line while the Pacers were just 8-15. The Blazers look like a team that ...
