MEMPHIS -- Memphis center Marc Gasol has played alongside Zach Randolph long enough to know when the Grizzlies' veteran forward is unstoppable. "He has a little bounce, like a boxer, and raises his eyebrow," Gasol said. "You can see it in his face when he's feeling it." Randolph had that look Tuesday, throwing jab after jab against Phoenix before he knocked the Suns out in overtime. He finished with 38 points and 22 rebounds in the Grizzlies' 108-98 victory at FedExForum. In the extra period, Randolph had six points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Memphis (13-3) hit five of eight field-goal attempts in overtime while outscoring the Suns 14-4. Randolph scored on a 5-footer from almost behind the backboard after grabbing an offensive rebound, then swished 18-foot and 17-foot fadeaways over the outstretched arms of 6-foot-11 Phoenix center Marcin Gortat. The explosive finish ended a night that started when Randolph spun around the Suns'...

Sitting atop the NBA standings is new territory for the Memphis Grizzlies. Just getting off to a fast start is unusual.
The Grizzlies, who usually stumble out the gate, are a league-best 13-3. They've never had a better record after the first 16 games of the season. They were 11-5 in 2005-06 and 10-6 last season.
Coach Lionel Hollins and his Grizzlies list several reasons for...
NZ Baller of the Week: Michael Conley, Memphis Grizzlies So, who had a better week than Michael Conley? Nobody. The Memphis Grizzlies floor general put together quite an impressive week the past seven days. During his hot stretch, the Grizzlies went 2-1, their only loss coming on the road to the Spurs. It was good [...]
Blowing a 14-point fourth-quarter lead to their division rivals, the Memphis Grizzlies missed out on a chance to make an early statement.
The Grizzlies have an opportunity to bounce back on Tuesday night when they host the Phoenix Suns, who will try to avoid a fourth straight defeat.
While the Spurs' Big Three were refreshed following two days off that ultimately cost the team...

I’ve been on the Grizzlies bandwagon all along.
Now in his third season, Blake Griffin is considered a superstar in the NBA and has been an All-Star in his first two NBA seasons and is expected to be one for the foreseeable future. But despite the fantastic dunks and the excitement he brings, he simply is not playing at an All-Star level this year and has actually regressed. Despite this fact, he is one of the league’s most...
Check out the wiley vet Tim Duncan. The old man still has some tricks up his sleeve. Check out this nice little slow motion spin move and facial that he put on Marc Gasol on Saturday.
That win over Memphis moved the Spurs to 14-4, and big Timmy is looking as youthful as ever.

At 36 years old, you'd think San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan's game would be aging. During the end of the 2010 playoffs, he was described as a "traffic cone" (John Hollinger's words on Twitter). He looked old, tired, and his game looked diminished to the point where he should retire.
Duncan had another plans though.
He's lost plenty of weight...
