21 days until training camp and I can't wait. There is a lot of speculation going on as to whether Danny will make another move before the season. We definitely could use a back up point guard. There has been talk that many teams are holding off on point guard signings until Iverson signs. There are rumors that Danny is still interested in Iverson, who has said that he would consider coming off the bench for a team. On Monday, Iverson met with the Grizzlies, who are reportedly offering 3.5 million for one year. The max the Celtics can offer is the vet minimum. AI doesn't strike me as the type of player would would sign for less for a chance to back up a younger PG off the bench. I just don't think his ego will let him. With Tyronn Lue turning down the Greek offer, there is much speculation that he may be on the Celtics' radar. If Danny can't make a trade for a PG, I wouldn't mind having Lue for a backup. I think he would fit in great with this team....
