The Boston Celtics came out firing on all cylinders tonight and never looked back. C’s beat the Sixers 92-79 at TD Garden. The Celtics were definitely all business tonight after losing a real tough one in Philly on Friday. Boston’s smothering defense held Philly to just 28 first-half points. It was the usual suspects as KG (19), Truth (13) and Bass (10) all scored in double-figures. Rajon Rondo tallied 11 pts, 7 dimes, 9 boards & 3 steals in another solid game. Jeff Green (more on him in a moment) was huge with 16 points off the bench. Thaddeus Young led Philly, and all scorers, with 22. The Green: Jeff Green had his best and most efficient offensive game this season. JG put in 16 big points on 7 of 12 shooting in 23 minutes. He was aggressive, yet patient, and really looked as comfortable as I’ve seen him. KG pumped-in 11 of his 19 points in the 3rd quarter where he was 5 for 5 from the floor.
