The Celtics may not be done making moves.
The Mavericks have contacted the Celtics about Rajon Rondo, according to DallasBasketball.com. Dallas just drafted point guard Shane Larkin out of Miami, who the the Celtics showed interest in during the pre-draft process, according to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld.
The Celtics have already parted with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry and Doc Rivers this offseason. Moving Rondo would ensure a total rebuild for Boston.
Rondo is coming off ACL surgery and turns 28 in February. Reports came out earlier this month that Rondo was among the reasons Rivers wanted to leave the Celtics.

Word around the league is that Rajon Rondo is not exactly the building block for the Boston Celtics’ reconstruction project. While GM Danny Ainge admitted at the NBA Draft that the team wasn’t looking to trade Rondo at this point in time, it looks like Ainge wasn’t completely honest. Rumors have been floating that the [...]

Well, Celtics Nation, you knew this day was inevitable. The minute the Celtics created the Big Three of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen in 2008, you knew that it would be an exciting but limited ride. The night of the 2013 NBA Draft effectively ended a six year period where Celtics basketball became relevant again, as the Green (a team currently without a head coach after...
It’s been awhile since we had some meaningful basketball at the Palace and it’s also been awhile since the Pistons have had a player other teams feared.
Simply put it’s time to remedy both those problems and Rajon Rondo could be the guy to do that for Detroit. And since Rondo could in a sense help revive basketball in the Motor City here’s why the Pistons need to explore...

Exactly how bad do the Boston Celtics want to be in the 2013-2014 NBA campaign? Already heading into the off-season without former bench boss Doc Rivers, now with the Los Angeles Clippers and with a deal in principle that will send Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry to Brooklyn; would the Celtics part with their remaining All-Star? The “Boston Globe” reported on Saturday...

With Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce headed out of town and Doc Rivers chilling on the beach in LA, there seems to be a bit of a fire sale going on right now in Boston. With nearly all of the original core of 2008 championship team gone, it’s only natural to ponder whether or not point guard Rajon Rondo is next.
Celtics GM Danny Ainge actually addressed it last night during the...

Let me just save the thoughts for the Brooklyn - Boston trade for another day and dive right into the NBA Draft and what Danny Ainge brought to Boston with the lone first round pick he had.
So far, Danny's draft picks have been uneven for the most part - has has drafted our current point guard and face of the franchise in Rajon Rondo, our foremost defensive bulldog in Avery...
