.    The Cleveland Cavaliers season is shaping up to be one of the greatest in rebuilding history. I couldn’t have scripted it better myself. I thought they would be bad, while not being bad enough to improve their roster. I thought that they would be just bad enough to lurk around .500, and that they might even sneak into the playoffs. However I pleasantly surprised to see that I was wrong. As a matter of fact I want to send the gods of great fortune Christmas gifts. The plan for the Cavaliers this season is to lose as many games as possible, while not looking so bad that everyone gets fired, and that’s exactly what’s happening. It turns out that the Cavs are a decent team that manages to lose close games. This is a great situation for every Cavs fans. Because not only is your team close, but you’re going to get an additional lottery pick to improve your team even more. That would be a total of 5 lottery picks in 3 year (also known as OKC territory, but don’t get ahead of me), and 4 of those guys are getting NBA experience right now. Please excuse me for a minute while I jump around Gangnam style with my shirt off…and think all this was made possible with LeBron James leaving and the Clippers being dumb enough to trade an unprotected pick for Mo Williams. This whole thing brings a tear to my eye (Ray Charles style). The Cavaliers have a great foundation for a potential championship team. They have two all-stars in Anderson Varejao and Kyrie Irving, and a cluster of younger guys that are learning how to play. They also have a great coach and a slightly sociopathic owner who wants to win. Now if you’re a Cavs fan you have to hope for luck. The Cavs have to hit on their lottery pick(s) in the upcoming draft, the same way Oklahoma City did. However, even if they are unlucky, they have a team that will compete for the division for the next 10 years. With that being said, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s enjoy the perfection of this year’s Cleveland Cavaliers.   Kortney Shane Williams Editor-in-Chief of Comedic Prose Follow Kortney Williams on Twitter @kortneyshane
