Standing at 5-foot-9, one would think getting a layup or an easy dunk would be simple for most big men in the NBA when facing Kings Isaiah Thomas.
But do not let this little guy fool you as Mavs' Bernard James, who stands at 6-foot-10, found out Tuesday night.
James found himself all by himself near the basket and called for the ball. Little did he know, Thomas was near by...
The Sacramento Kings have made a lot of moves to convert their roster into a younger, more competitive unit. One of those moves was to acquire forward Derrick Williams, the second overall pick in 2011. Another move was to trade Greivis Vasquez, freeing up the starting PG role for explosive third-year guard Isaiah Thomas.

Here is a video of Isaiah Thomas stuffing Bernard James at the rim in last night's Kings vs. Mavs game. Thomas is generously listed at 5'9" but he is probably only about 5'7" or so. The former Washington Huskies star showed off his hops by blocking the 6'10" James' shot. The Kings went on to upset the Mavs 112-97. Thomas had 24 points and 12 assists on the night.

I never much liked...
Recently, Reebok approached Isaiah Thomas with the idea of making a custom pair of Kamikaze basketball shoes using the Sacramento Kings’ purple and black colors. Thomas was excited for the idea — however, he had one request. He wanted both of his son’s names to get embroidered onto the sneaker. Reebok obliged — check them out:
