Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
Bills Mario Williams is suing his ex-fiance, Erin Marzouki for $785,000, the cost of her engagement ring, claiming she was using him for money and never intended on marrying him. Per the Associated Press, Marzouki has counter sued claiming that Williams got cold feet and told her and her family members that he wanted her to keep the ring.
Marzouki’s counter suit states Williams made it “abundantly clear in writing” that he wanted her to keep the ring after their last of many breakups in December. And, she said, Williams also communicated his wishes in text messages to her father and brother.
She alleged, Williams broke up with her several times, including a few days after the proposal, when the two were vacationing with family in the Bahamas. Marzouki said, Williams became upset, broke off the engagement and flew home on a privately chartered plane.
Marzouki said, she returned to Texas and gave Williams back the ring. The two, she said, then reconciled in June at which time Marzouki said she urged Williams to “be serious about marriage.”
In accepting the ring, Marzouki said she warned Williams she never would again return the ring regardless of what happened.
Marzouki characterized Williams as someone who “seemed torn” between entering a long-term commitment.
“It appeared to Marzouki that a part of Williams wanted to be married and start a family,” the documents said, “while another part of Williams wanted to continue to live the life of a wealthy bachelor, who could do whatever he wanted, with whomever he wanted, whenever he wanted.”
Marzouki also stated that the credit card charges referenced were actual items for his homes in Texas and Buffalo which she decorated at his benefit. The two met in 2007 when Marzouki worked for the Texans, Williams team at the time.

With the departure of Buddy Nix, who'll stay with the team as a consultant, assistant GM Doug Whaley is moving up into the GM role, reports CBSSports' Jason La Canfora.
Whaley, who learned the ropes back in Pittsburgh under GM Kevin Colbert, was being groomed in Buffalo as Nix's successfor. Many fans were unhappy with Nix's decisions throughout the years and his...

Day two of Buffalo Bills OTAs saw another wide receiver as its top player. On Tuesday, second year wideout T.J. Graham had the best performance. The wide receiver corps are a bit thin currently with many of the rookies having to sit out until their respective graduations and Stevie Johnson still battling an injury.
Graham pulled in “almost half a dozen receptions” according to...
The Buffalo Bills promoted Doug Whaley to take over as general manager, replacing Buddy Nix who stepped down earlier this week.

It was no surprise, but the Buffalo Bills named Doug Whaley as General Manager at a press conference on Thursday. Whaley became the team’s 12th general manager.
While everyone knew that Whaley was next in line to be GM, the Bills gave Buddy Nix “his day in the sun” so to speak. After stepping down as GM on Monday, the Bills allowed Nix to get his time in the limelight. Nix...
