The Dallas Cowboys have released former New Orleans Saints defensive end Anthony Hargrove, who signed a one-year deal with the team on May 16th. The team announced the move on their official website on Thrusday. Hargrove didn't play a snap in 2012, although he was only suspended 8 games for his paricipation in the Saints' bounty program. He struggled in his return with conditioning, reports Tim MacMahon of ESPN, which ultimately led to his release. Hargrove, if he stayed with the team, would have been in a position to compete with 2012 third-round pick Tyrone Crawford to back up starter Anthony Spencer.
