Both the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers needed this game; the Cowboys just wanted it a little bit more. Tony Romo stood tall in the pocket and threw for 341 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Dez Bryant, questionable with a broken finger before the game came up big hauling in a touchdown pass and DeMarco Murray had a fourth quarter rushing touchdown to push the Cowboys into overtime.
In overtime, Brandon Carr broke on a sideline pass from Ben Roethlisberger intercepting the pass and ran it back to the 1 yard line.
Kicker Dan Bailey nailed a 21 yard field goal to send the Cowboys into a three way tie for first place. The Cowboys battled back from a 24-17 deficit midway through the 4th quarter hold the Steelers offense in check.
The defense rose up late as they sacked Roethlisberger twice on a late drive to create the opportunity for the offense score.
