LeBron James has made a pretty nice career for himself, winning back-to-back NBA championships and collecting four regular-season MVPs. But would the Miami Heat superstar be as dominant if he took his talents to the NFL?
Dez Bryant certainly thinks so.
In a discussion with ESPNDallas.com, the Dallas Cowboys' mercurial receiver said the 6-foot-8, 250 pound James would be a "beast" in the NFL, an impact player at either receiver or tight end.
"That dude is just that talented," said Bryant. "I think it would take him probably about a good two weeks to get very acquainted with football, knowing what he's supposed to do. I think that's all he'd need with his physical ability.
"I've seen a little bit of his highlights from high school. He's got the hands, he can run the routes, he's fast enough. He could play in this league if he put it all together."

Today the NFL gets it's preseason started, when the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins square off in this years' Hall of Fame Game. Although, Tony Romo will not be playing, young star wide receiver, Dez Bryant will suit up. I'm guessing he will only get a few snaps, maybe just one series. All eyes will be on Dez, as expectations for the fourth year Cowboy are...
Larry Allen will always be well loved in Dallas for opening up so many holes for Emmitt Smith and keeping defenders off of Troy Aikman, but the rest of the country might dig this guy for what he shared during his Hall of Fame speech.
The 6'3" offensive tackle has always been a big man so its no surprise that on his first date his wife cooked for him. What may be surprising...
CANTON, Ohio -- For newly-inducted Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Larry Allen, it was love at first bite.
"On our first date, she cooked for me," Allen said of his "heart-and-soul" Janelle in a speech that was one of the highlights of the Saturday ceremony in Canton. "She cooked me two chickens, french fries, baked me a cake and gave me a 40-ounce.
This Cowboys fan has to have one of the craziest tattoos ever. I thought I was a hard core fan! pic.twitter.com/Dep5q8rsMG — rabblerousr (@rabblerousr) August 2, 2013 Need NFL Tickets? Loading... While many athletes ignore rumors about them to avoid giving phony stories credibility, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant decided to take one straight on. Someone running a now-deleted Twitter account called “NFL_NBA_Groupie” posted photos on Twitter of an alleged text conversation they had with Bryant. The conversation included raunchy talks about urination and strap-ons. [...]
The Dallas Cowboys are suddenly so thin at offensive line, they grabbed a player who lives 10 minutes from training camp in California.
Good thing they at least had James Nelson in rookie camp in May, even if they chose not to sign him.
The Cowboys lost a pair of guards in starter Nate Livings and backup Kevin Kowalski during their second week of camp. Livings is out at least two...
Going into his ninth NFL season, DeMarcus Ware is doing anything he can to make sure he stays healthy during training camp, even if that means not walking, unless he absolutely has to.
Ware has been spotted zipping around the Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, Calif. this summer on a Segway, the same two-wheeled device that are used by mall cops around the nation. He takes it from...
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spent a large portion of the offseason talking about his team's playcalling situation and its highly paid quarterback. He also brought in Monte Kiffin and Rod Marinelli to revamp a defense that has annually been at bottom of the league in takeaways.
It will be impossible to make any evaluations on those decisions after Sunday's Hall of Fame game...
Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Nate Livings is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right knee and could miss the team's regular season opener according to the team's website. The surgery would be Livings' second surgery on the knee in six months.
The 31-year-old left guard will have his knee scoped which could keep Livings sidelined for up to four weeks. The Cowboys...
You thinking spending that $200 on a NFL jersey makes you a big fan, you might want to rethink that. This guy here takes being a super fan to a whole new level with his Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl shrine on his back.
My only question for dude is when/if Dallas are able to win another Super Bowl where does he plan to put it?

Having never gotten a tattoo I don't know exactly what drives people to get them. A lot of people I do know with them got them in honor of something like a fallen friend, the name of the kid(s), etc. Many have also done so to show the love they have of their favorite sports team.
If the size of the tattoo is supposed to say anything (i.e. how much the person loves something...
