The Jacksonville Jaguars ended the 2011 season with the worst passing offense in the NFL averaging only 136.2 passing yards per game. The Jaguars wide receiver corps was so poor that tight end Marcedes Lewis ended the season as the teams receiving leader with only 460 yards. The only Jaguars wide receiver with over 40 catches was Mike Thomas.
The bottom line is that the biggest hole the Jaguars have to fill this offseason is at the wide receiver position. Luckily for the Jaguars, they have a bunch of salary cap space and this year may have the best crop of free agent wide receivers ever. Here is a look at five wide receivers that I think the Jaguars will target once free agency opens up in March.
