According to NFL.com, Greg Cosell of NFL Films believes rookie running back Montee Ball is a great fit for the Denver Broncos offense.
Cosell believes second-round pick Montell Ball is an “ideal fit” for the Denver Broncos’ offense, citing his burst, fluidity and ability to get skinny at point of attack. Although Cosell’s one question was if Ball could be a true foundation running back at the NFL level, the former Wisconsin star has landed in the perfect offense. There’s no feature back “in a strict sense” in Peyton Manning’s offense. Cosell believes Ball already is the best runner on the Broncos’ roster.
I agree with Cosell that Ball has to be the best runner on Denver’s roster. Willis McGahee is a solid back, but is wearing down. Ronnie Hillman is another good young back, but isn’t as complete as a Ball. And Knowshon Moreno still needs to be more consistent.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning should be on high alert during training camp.

Members of the Denver Broncos stopped by to see Wednesday night’s Yankees-Rockies game at Coors Field. According to NFL.com, Greg Cosell of NFL Films believes rookie quarterback Tyler Wilson has a legitimate chance to win the Oakland Raiders starting job.
Don’t be surprised if fourth-round draft pick Tyler Wilson is given a legitimate chance to start at quarterback for the Oakland Raiders.
I think Matt Flynn is the front-runner to start right now, but I wouldn’t be shocked...
