According to team’s official website, the Lions have signed former Pro Bowl safety Chris Hope. He played in all 16 games for the Falcons in 2012 ad started 4 games. Hope also played for the Steelers and Titans, but hasn’t been a regular starter since 2010. The veteran safety provides insurance for starter Louis Delmas who has been battling a knee injury. Hope is a solid third safety with a good football IQ.
