Found December 31, 2011 on It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
Michigan State athletic director has taken thinking "outside-the-box" to a whole new level.

He was the mastermind behind the "Cold War Game" in 2001 which pitted the Michigan State hockey team against Michigan in the open-air Spartan Stadium. In 2003, he was responsible for "BasketBowl" - a basketball game between Michigan State and Kentucky at the indoor Ford Field where the Detroit Lions play. Almost two months ago, another one of his well-thought up and planned gems came together when the Michigan State men's hoops team played North Carolina on the USS Carl Vinson, a docked United States Naval ship.

But playing on the sea wasn't enough. Hollis' reported new baby consists of matching two warriors - the Spartans and the University of Southern California Trojans - in a battle in Greece in the old Olympic Stadium. And yes, Hollis is very serious.
"It’s just the two names blend themselves well. It would be a good ancient sports venue to conduct something in. We’ve been talking about that one for a while."
Hollis acknowledged that Olympic Stadium's field surface is too narrow for football, so basketball would be the better bet should the plan come to fruition.

And while it probably wouldn't match the coolness factor of playing on an active U.S. military air station, it would turn history into the present. And with Hollis as the man writing the script, I wouldn't bet against this happening.

3 Questions: Michigan State

Didn't we just play Michigan State in Florida? Do we bring the 1st half team from the SEC Championship Game? Michigan State isn't some crappy B1G team. They have two receivers in BJ Cunningham and Keshawn Martin that you have to keep tabs on at all times, and a...
