Found November 27, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:
Making his first NFL start, Ryan Lindley was overmatched in Arizona’s Week 12 loss to the Rams, completing 31-of-52 throws for 312 yards, four interceptions and zero touchdowns. Lindley came out hot, completing 7-for-8 passes for 80 yards on Arizona’s opening drive, and entered halftime 17-of-25 for 181 yards. He came unglued once the Rams dialed up the pressure in the second half, however, tossing three of his four picks. Rookie Rams CB Janoris Jenkins took two INTs to the house. All four of Lindley’s picks were terrible decisions, while two came on miscommunications with All-Pro Larry Fitzgerald. Lindley did excel at getting rid of the ball quickly behind Arizona’s woeful offensive line, but all-in-all was not a noticeable upgrade on John Skelton. Lindley will make his first road start in Week 13, where the Cardinals will travel to New York to take on the Jets. Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt stated Monday that Ryan Lindley will remain his starting quarterback in Week 13 if Kevin Kolb (ribs) isn’t ready. They’ve turned the page on John Skelton. Kolb’s status is uncertain, but we’ll have a better read on his chances of playing against the Jets by Wednesday. Through two appearances, Lindley has completed 55.6 percent of 72 attempts with no touchdowns, four picks, and a fumble lost. He’s not ready for the NFL.
