Found November 19, 2008 on Dom D's Mets Fan Blog:
Dan Graziano of the Newark Star Ledger reports that the Dodgers might be the team that's holding up Sabathia's decision with the Yankees

Graziano says the Dodgers are in a bit of a pickle because they would like to sign Manny Ramirez and CC Sabathia but that might remain impossible due to Boras' negotiation tactics.. Sabathia wants to stay on the West Coast and the Dodgers might be in a position to offer the left hander between $110- 120 Million for six years. But that will leave them not being able to sign Ramirez.

Another scenario that has Graziano wondering , is if the Blue Jays will shop Roy Halladay (which is being expected). He figures that the Dodgers will be a likely match for the Blue Jays. If the Dodgers could trade for Halladay, they would be in a better situation to sign Manny Ramirez. Halladay is only expected to make $30 Million dollars in the next two years of his contract, which to me is a steal!
