Great grab Pete And John The Seattle Seahawks signed DT/DE Jason Jones to a 1-year deal. Jason Jones has been on my radar this off-season for a number of reasons. He was not going to go back to the Titans because they slid him to defensive end exclusively and his performance dropped because of it. In case you haven’t read my free agency preview I had this to say about him. “DT Jason Jones – His versatility to play inside or out could put him on Seattle’s radar. He is better while playing in the interior line but he does have the ability to move outside. For his NFL career he has averaged 2.3 tackles and 0.3 sacks per game. Jason will turn 26 before the start of the Season.” After the re-signing of Red Bryant, signing Jones was the top priority on defense in my opinion. Sure, the defense has bigger holes but it’s easier to find a couple linebackers then it is to find a player like Jason.
