On April 29th, Indiana Hoosiers transfer small forward Jordan Geronimo committed to Maryland. On Twitter, he wrote the following statement:

Dear Hoosier Nation,

First off, I want to say thank you for all the love and support you guys had shown me during my three years as a Hoosier. However, after much thought and consideration, I have decided to play for the University of Maryland next season!

Geronimo joined the program in 2020. Last season, he appeared in 27 games and made six starts. He averaged 4.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.9 blocks, and 0.5 steals in 12.4 minutes per game.

He shot a very efficient 63.1 percent from two-point range. However, he knocked down his threes at a 26.3 percent clip.

Geronimo is the Hoosiers’ third transfer departure of the offseason, joining shooting guard Tamar Bates and center Logan Duncomb.

Meanwhile, he is Maryland’s second transfer addition, alongside Loyola Marymount shooting guard Chance Stephens.
