After starting 10-2 and having a freshman and a sophomore leading the team in points, Baylor fans had good hope going into conference play. But the Bears have continued to struggle during conference play, winning just three of the last 10, getting the last two from their previous wins.
The Baylor Wide receivers were an experienced, productive group in 2025. Dallas Baker’s group, headlined by Josh Cameron, Kole Wilson, Ashtyn Hawkins, and Kobe Prentice, was a great weapon for offensive coordinator Jake Spavital.
The Baylor Bears are 14.5-point underdogs today as they get to face off against a top program in the nation. The 20-2 Cyclones are coming off four straight wins and will be looking to make a jump in the Big 12 with a victory.
Baylor has won back-to-back games for the first time since December. The Bears are hoping to continue their winning ways, but a third win in a row will be well earned if Baylor can do so.

The Baylor Bears have made a nice portal addition with Indiana defensive lineman Hosea Wheeler reportedly set to head to Waco, according to On3. However,
Baylor picked up a nice win in the portal with the flip of Kentucky transfer wide receiver Hardley Gilmore. He was previously committed to Louisville but made the switch to Waco, giving the Bears another veteran option in the wide receiver room as they continue to reshape the offense.
Baylor has added another body up front with the signing of South Carolina transfer Zavion Hardy. The former No. 1 JUCO prospect in the 2025 class played in just one game this season and didn’t record any stats, but the Bears are clearly betting on what he could become, not what he’s done so far.
