The Los Angeles Angels are lucky enough to have perhaps the two best players in all of baseball on their roster, those being Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout.

Both of them hit home runs last night in game two of the Halos’ three-game set with the Chicago White Sox.

However, the Angels themselves are a team that seems to be coming apart at the seams, even with Trout and Ohtani on their side.

They still have yet to recover from their epic 14-game losing skid and last night was the same story in a different game, as the Halos were blown out 11-4 by the ChiSox.

MLB tweeted a photo of Trout and Ohtani celebrating their home runs, without including the result of the game.

Halos Lose Again

Things aren’t getting any easier in Anaheim.

The Angels continue to lose some tough games and do so against teams that are below the .500 mark, such as the White Sox.

Even with Trout and Ohtani doing their thing, the Halos can’t seem to win consistently.

The same depressing theme keeps repeating itself for the Angels.

They just can’t seem to get it going and have yet to fully recover from their epic collapse at the end of May.

The loss last night dropped them to 36-41.

They sit 12 games behind the defending American League champion Houston Astros in the AL West division.

They still have a shot in the Wild Card race, as they’re only six games behind the Tampa Bay Rays for the final slot.

But if they want to turn it around, they need to win some games and give Trout and Ohtani some support.
