The New York Mets and San Francisco Giants will close out a four-game series at Oracle Park on Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN at 7:10 p.m. ET.
The Mets took the first two games of the series Thursday and Friday night, outscoring the Giants 16-4 while doing so. The Giants picked up a responsive 7-4 victory Saturday. Sunday night, San Francisco will try for a series split, while the Mets attempt to take three of four, finishing up a ten-game road trip to the West Coast.
Two years removed from winning 107 games and the National League West division title, the Giants are off to a slow start, entering play Sunday at 7-13. Giants manager Gabe Kapler will give the ball to Ross Stripling (0-1, 7.30 ERA), as the right-hander tries for his first win as a member of the Giants. Stripling signed a two-year, $25 million contract with the club over the winter.
Tylor Megill (3-1, 3.00 ERA) will start for the Mets Sunday.
