A’s RHP Gunnar Hoglund (hip surgery) to miss rest of season

The Athletics announced Friday that right-hander Gunnar Hoglund will be shelved for the remainder of the 2025 season after successful hip surgery. The first-year pitcher had been placed on the 15-day injured list with hip impingement on June 2, retroactive to June 1.
