After taking the series opener on Saturday, the New York Mets fell to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. Despite a comeback effort, New York fell 6-5 in the first game of a double-header. All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor drove in three of New York's five runs, with Brandon Nimmo and Jesse Winker accounting for the other two.
