Jesse Love enjoyed an extremely positive outing in the 2025 season of the NASCAR Xfinity Series (soon to be renamed to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series) as he won the title this year.
However, Love didn’t want to stop at just winning the Xfinity Series. He debuted in the Dunlop Super2 Series at the 2025 Adelaide Grand Final. Now, the 2025 championship winner claims that many other drivers from the pinnacle of stock racing will want to switch to racing in Supercars because of his entry.
Notably, Jesse Love piloted the #57 Holden Commodore ZB for Image Racing in the Supercar session. Not only Love, but also Austin Cindric have made their mark in the Supercar series in the land of Down Under this time around. As such, the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series winner made a bold claim that many drivers will now follow in his footsteps to the Australian series.
Jesse Love claimed that there were over 25 drivers from the Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series that watched his Supercar debut in Adelaide. He asserted that those drivers wanted to be in his place and race in Down Under. As such, now that Love finally took the daring step, he believed that he was one of the very few and first people who had participated in this motorsport series.
Following his Super2 debut, Jesse Love declared that there would be a flood of NASCAR drivers wanting to start racing and wanting to make their mark in the Supercar series as well.
This isn’t completely shocking, as many drivers have debuted in several other racing series, like Kyle Larson in dirt racing. Love believes that the NASCAR drivers now believe that they can race in Supercars following the former’s debut.
I’m sure that there is 25 Cup, Xfinity and Truck drivers watching this weekend that want to be where…what I’m doing this weekend. So I’m sure that now that I’ve finally done it, and I’m probably one of the first guys that come over and do it, that there’s going to be kind of a flood of NASCAR guys wanting to come over here and do it now. They know it’s possible.
Jesse Love said on the Supercars YouTube channel.
Jesse Love came into the Australian Supercars series after enjoying a highly successful championship-winning campaign in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. As such, he had great hopes for his debut at the Super2 in Adelaide.
However, his first two races have been difficult as he started both of them from P19 and P22, respectively. Still, he has put forth his ambitions to come back racing in Down Under as soon as possible.
Speaking on a comeback to racing in the Super2 in the near future, Jesse Love claimed that he absolutely wanted to come back. Love explained that he was frustrated with his results because he had certain expectations that he was unable to meet. He continued that he wanted to continue participating in the category and learn about the sport even more.
Absolutely, I want to come back. Part of the reason that I’ve been a little bit frustrated this weekend is I had some expectations, right? And expectations can ruin it, right? But, I want to keep doing this so I can get a chance in the main game and really start learning even more. So, it’s probably going to take me a couple outings in the Super2 to really get to the level that I want to be at before I come over here.
Jesse Love noted.
Certainly, Jesse Love has emerged as one of the better and versatile drivers compared to the rest of the drivers on the grid. Love has achieved great results this year, and it might be difficult to top them in the coming year. Regardless, the 20-year-old is confident in his capabilities to achieve similar, if not better, results in the upcoming season in the pinnacle of stock racing.
