Andre Iguodala is pushing for a trade away from the Memphis Grizzlies, and Dillon Brooks has a great reason for hoping it happens.
Grizzlies players were asked after Monday night’s 96-82 win over the Detroit Pistons where the trade rumors surrounding Iguodala have been a distraction. Brooks said no and said he hopes the team trades the veteran so they can beat Iguodala.
2/2 “We don’t really care. It’s not a distraction at all. I laugh at that type of stuff. A guy that’s on our team that doesn’t want to be on our team. I can’t wait until we find a way to trade him so we can play him and show him what really Memphis is about.”

You have to love that attitude from Brooks. Iguodala refusing to play for the Grizzlies is nothing but disrespectful to the franchise and should be taken that way by their players. They should want to destroy Iguodala and show him what he’s missing out on.
Iguodala was traded to Memphis over the offseason and has not reported to the team. He is seeking a trade prior to Thursday’s deadline and reportedly will sit out the rest of the season if he is not dealt to a team he has approved.
