The Nets have officially signed center Moses Brown to a 10-day contract as they continue to seek a reliable backup in the middle.

Brooklyn, which decided not to renew the 10-day deal of Nerlens Noel, announced the Brown move in a press release.

Brown, 23, is 7-foot-2 and was just recently waived by the Knicks, who had signed him to a two-way contract.

He began the season with the Clippers, but was released in mid-February. Overall this season, Brown has appeared in 34 games, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes a night.

He has also spent time with the Cavaliers, Mavericks, Thunder and Trail Blazers since entering the NBA in 2019. The Nets will actually be his eighth team. He had appeared in games, though, with just five of them.
