The NBA Highlights Big Offseason Trades
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Even though the NBA hasn’t played a regular season game in months doesn’t mean that fans haven’t been very busy.

In fact, the last few months have been a total whirlwind for those who follow basketball.

That’s because it’s been a very intense offseason with some massive changes to the league.

A few of the biggest players in the NBA have bounced around to new locations, radically shaking up both the Western and Eastern conferences and making 2022-23 even more anticipated.

The league is well aware of the major shakeups that have got people talking this summer.

In a tweet featuring the phrase “Same face, new places” the NBA showed Donovan Mitchell, who now plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rudy Gobert, who is now with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dejounte Murray, who calls the Atlanta Hawks home now, and Ben Simmons, who is ready to start playing for the Brooklyn Nets.

These are just some of the players who have packed their bags over the summer.

The Summer Swaps

Each of the trades showcased in that tweet were huge and got the league and all its fans talking.

But there were other moves throughout the summer that were exciting, such as Jalen Brunson from the Dallas Mavericks to the New York Knicks, John Wall from the Houston Rockets to the Los Angeles Clippers, and seemingly every living, breathing soul from the Utah Jazz to several spots throughout the league.

it was a very hectic time indeed.

Then there were all the rumors and drama.

Kevin Durant wanted to leave the Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie Irving did too, and Russell Westbrook‘s future with the Lakers was in question too.

NBA fans haven’t been given a chance to breathe but now the real season begins.
