Broncos, Jaguars, Raiders, Chargers all interested in Davante Adams?
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Davante Adams had a career year with the Green Bay Packers during the 2021-22 NFL season.

Although he failed to match the touchdown total he put up in 2020-21, Adams finished with a career-high 1553 receiving yards and 123 total receptions.

Now the talented wide receiver is a free agent, and it’s very much up in the air where he will ultimately play next.

The Packers obviously want Adams back. And they have the Franchise Tag to work with. However – they’re not the only dog in this fight.

According to Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network, four teams are currently in the running for Adams’ services.

The squads in question are: the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jagaurs, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers. All four bring a unique set of positives and negatives to the table.

Denver obviously makes a ton of sense, especially if the Broncos can also add Aaron Rodgers. That was their master plan heading into the offseason, but it remains unclear how feasible it truly is.

If not them, the Jaguars are another squad to watch. Jacksonville is currently $70 million under the salary cap and desperately needs a top receiving option for Trevor Lawrence. Given what the organization has been through over the past year, getting Adams would be an incredible win.

The Raiders are another intriguing option. Now that the team is very clearly all-in on Derek Carr, getting him some help would make sense. Las Vegas suffered one horrific event after another last year, so the franchise could really use someone of Adams’ skill and respectability on the roster.

Finally, the Chargers are also a team to watch. Quarterback Justin Herbert is a stud, on and off the field. But he needs help. Having Adams to throw to could immediately turn him into the best passer in the NFL.

The next few weeks will be interesting. One way or another, Adams’ decision on his future should have massive ramifications across the league.

Where will he suit up in 2022-23? Time will tell.
