Buffalo Bills Trade Stefon Diggs in Blockbuster Deal

Houston sends the Bills a package of picks, including a second-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

Diggs is coming off one of the most prolific seasons of his career, and a sixth-straight season surpassing 1,000 receiving yards after catching 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns.

Stefon Diggs now departs what has been a perennial Super Bowl favorite in the AFC, to arguably the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs representing the conference in a third consecutive Super Bowl.

Landing with the Houston Texans, Diggs becomes the focal point of what is already a dynamic receiving corps at ascending star quarterback and former No. 2 overall draft pick, C.J. Stroud’s arsenal.

With Diggs at the top of the Texans’ wide receiver depth chart, he’ll serve as a dynamic deep-threat in a group that already included consistent weapon Nico Collins and young playmakers Tank Dell and Noah Brown.

It’s easy to see why the Houston Texans targeted Stefon Diggs after his standout stint with the Buffalo Bills where he was a favorite target of quarterback Josh Allen and one of the most dangerous deep-threats in the sport. Meanwhile, Allen posted a prolific 95.5 passer rating when targeting Diggs, and that sort of consistency could significantly hasten Stroud’s continued development.

Through his first nine seasons, with the Bills and Minnesota Vikings, Diggs has caught 810 passes for 9,995 yards and 67 career touchdowns.
