A week after the Kansas City Chiefs nearly faced a forfeit after their equipment showed up late at Gillette Stadium against the New England Patriots, the team is experiencing new problems just hours before kickoff this week.
According to ESPN’s Adam Teicher, Kansas City Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy and wide receiver Sammy Watkins are among several players who have yet to arrive at Arrowhead Stadium for Sunday’s game.
My understanding is that several Chiefs players have yet to arrive at Arrowhead. Among them are McCoy and Watkins— Adam Teicher (@adamteicher) December 15, 2019
Kansas City is dealing with significant snow on Sunday in what is expected a wild game between the Chiefs and Denver Broncos.
Hopefully, the players are able to get to the stadium well before kickoff and they will be joined by tens of thousands of fans who are lucky also feeling the impact from the icy roads and increased traffic on Sunday morning.
