Monday’s Patriots Daily noted the two open spots on the New England Patriots 90-man roster. Eliot Wolf and Jerod Mayo have preached they are always looking to improve the roster, but it was unclear if anyone would be added since cutdowns to a 53-man roster take place next week.

Patriots reportedly work out edge defenders as preseason finale nears

NFL rosters will go from 90 to 53 next week. While the New England Patriots were away from the practice fields, free agents stopped in. The organization worked out edge defenders Kobe Jones, Christian McCarroll and Maximilian Roberts on Tuesday, as reported by the Boston Herald’s Doug Kyed, KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson and MLFootball.
