The Vancouver Canucks have bolstered their goaltending depth by signing prospect Aku Koskenvuo to a two-year, entry-level contract. A native of Espoo, Finland, Koskenvuo recently wrapped up his junior season with Harvard University, where he earned an NCAA-high 20 starts.
The Vancouver Canucks announced Tuesday that the club has signed goaltender Aku Koskenvuo to a two-year, entry-level contract. Through 21 appearances this season with the NCAA’s Harvard Crimson, Koskenvuo went 8-9-1 with a .902 save percentage, 2.81 goals-against average, and one shutout.
